After a long day of hiking, indulge your inner tasty food by treating yourself to a slice of We Cook Pizza and Pasta’s wonderful pizza. We also like how relaxed the ambiance is there, which is another reason we rank it so high on the list of Italian restaurants in Tusayan.

If you’re going to be passing by We Cook Pizza and Pasta on the way to Grand Canyon National Park, you might as well stop in for some of our delicious food. Whether you’re in the mood for some of our hand-tossed specialties, some scorching hot wings, a savory pasta crab buildup, or a crisp, fresh garden harvest salad, you won’t be disappointed in any of our offerings.

What is We Cook Pizza and Pasta?

Originally inspired by Wayne and Margi Cook, the tradition began that year. The cooks were living in a basic RV trailer located at the next campground while operating a small motorcycle tour business. When the adjoining “Chicken Shak Restaurant” closed down, Wayne and Margi didn’t waste any time turning it into a pizza joint. The concept for “We Cook Pizza and Pasta” came about when Wayne decided to start making pizzas while Margi handled the cash register and customer service.

Reviews

  • Just about what you would anticipate from a tourism area with significant traffic and a captive-like audience. High prices and subpar pizza. After taxes, a medium pepperoni costs $25. Unneeded plastic garbage was produced. No recyclable mugs. “Khalid S”
  • The food was below average, which was to be expected, but the service was excellent.” Kathrine”
  • The pizza has a delicious flavor. And one of my children, who tried the mac and cheese, said it was delicious. “Jeremy”
  • Great delicious pizza and spaghetti. Absolutely adored it. A little bit costly. It costs $50.00 for two drinks, a small pizza, and spaghetti. It would appear that every location within a reasonable distance of the Grand Canyon has significantly increased its prices. Excellent performance! “Yvette”
  • This ranks there as one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. We are quite glad that we decided to stop here. Excellent customer service in addition to very reasonable costs. Excellent cuisine; we plan to return if we are ever in the neighborhood again. “Jennifer Schwenneker”
  • The pizza was delicious, and the service was outstanding. “Brenda Elliott”
  • Served really quickly and deliciously. “Kimberly Wilson Privett”
  • Outstanding Pizza, Served Quickly, with a Smile! Indoor eating “Paul Grant.”
  • Their serving sizes are quite ample. The spaghetti had the flavor of bottled tomato sauce that had been topped with cooked pasta. Because I was allergic to cheese, I asked the clerk at the register whether or not the meatball contained any cheese.

She responded with a negative answer, so I believe she misread my query. My mom ordered the hot shrimp and broccoli, and all that was in it was cream with some noodles, a few shrimp, and broccoli. The spaghetti and meatballs that I received came with cheese, and there was no question about it. Their wings weren’t damaged in any way. The superior choice of the two kinds of pasta. The restaurant was spacious and spotless. Easy parking.“Samantha C.”

  • I got the shrimp and broccoli pasta, and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. “Cody Davis”
  • Even though the place was packed, we did not have to wait long for our lunch, and it was both steaming and excellent. “Will Schoggen”
  • The chicken wings and pizza here are the best I’ve had in a very long time. “Sandy Ciesielski McClain”
  • The meal is excellent. However, it may be a bit costly for what you get. Pasta and wings are my favorites to order there. The name “Patrick Carter.”
  • The food was above average, the service was pleasant, and the restaurant was spotless. They did make a mistake with our order, but they went out of their way to make it right. We appreciate the excellent service you provided. “Laurie Yuenger”
  • Outstanding Italian cuisine is offered at an incredible value. Unquestionably an excellent course of action! “Sean Kreuz”
